We’re looking for a Content Creation Intern who wants to do more than just making coffee or watching from the sidelines. We want someone who wants to create, experiment, learn, and will take ownership from day one.

Because we’re a small (but growing) company, you’ll get real responsibilities. Your ideas won’t disappear into endless meetings or approval rounds, they’ll actually become reality.

Be aware: this isn’t a traditional internship.

We work fully remotely, love travelling, and don’t believe you need an office to do great work. Since we’re an events company, our weeks don’t always look the same. Some weeks are calm, while others revolve around campaigns, Pride events or community projects. Flexibility goes both ways, and that’s exactly how we like it.

Who are we?
We’re Charlie and Stefanie (also known as Lilly Akuma).
Three years ago, we met while volunteering for Pride Amsterdam. Stefanie has way too many ideas. Charlie is the organised one. Together, we share the same passion.

We’re building Pink Events: a queer-led one-stop shop for LGBTQIA+ events. We create, organise and support events that bring communities together and celebrate queer joy.

We’re currently active in the Netherlands, Sweden and Portugal, and we’re only just getting started 😉
Now we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

What you’ll be doing
Because we’re a team of two, you won’t be stuck doing one tiny task for six months. Instead, you’ll help shape your own internship based on what you’re interested in.

We are looking for passion in:
Content Creation
Content Strategy
Video & Photo Editing
Social Media Analytics

We’re not expecting you to know everything. We do expect you to have experience editing photos or videos. The rest? We’ll figure it out together.

If you’re curious, willing to learn and enjoy trying new things, you’ll fit right in.

We think you’d be fit if you…

• are studying at a Dutch MBO, HBO or WO programme (Creative Business, Marketing, Media, Communication or similar);
• officially live in the Netherlands and have the right to work here (although you can work from anywhere);
• speak fluent English (Dutch isn’t required);
• enjoy working independently;
• can teach us a thing or two, we’re little caterpillars, always growing and hungry for new information;
• like taking initiative instead of waiting for instructions;
• learn quickly and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment;
• aren’t afraid to throw weird ideas on the table;
• have your own laptop and phone;
• and maybe don’t feel like you fit inside the “normal” box. Honestly… neither do we.

Not currently enrolled in school? Feel free to apply anyway. If you’re motivated, eager to learn and think you’d be a great fit, we’d still love to hear from you. However, a candidate enrolled in school has a higher chance.
